Job summary

Johnson Controls in Aarhus, Denmark, seeks an IT Support Specialist for the North IT Team. You will deliver hands-on IT support to a large manufacturing and distribution environment, covering 800+ users across manufacturing, warehouse, and office locations, while collaborating with a global IT community.

You will ensure productive users, efficient incident resolution, and delivery of technology initiatives across the Nordic region, leveraging ServiceNow and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, IT Field Service, or similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting of PC hardware, laptops, peripherals, and end-user devices.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Network routing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and collaboration abilities.
• Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user hardware, software, and workplace technology support.
• Deliver hands-on support for IT-owned site infrastructure and end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents from ownership to resolution.
• Manage PC lifecycle activities: deployment, installation, maintenance, refresh, decommissioning.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and align stockroom with global standards.
• Operate within IT Service Management processes using ServiceNow.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and company policies.
• Build relationships with technical and non-technical users through proactive communication.
