Job summary

Gram Equipment seeks a Team Lead – Hardware, Automation to lead the Hardware Team in Denmark and Turkey. The role is hands-on and split about 80% technical work and 20% leadership, delivering safe, reliable, and production-ready electrical hardware.

You will report to the Global Head of Automation and work across Automation, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Production. Based mainly in Kolding with hybrid working options, the role emphasizes standardization, automation, and cost

Qualifications

• Must have an electrical engineering background with automation experience.
• Proven experience in electrical design and panel engineering for industrial machinery.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards including CE and DS/EN/IEC 60204-1.
• Experience with electrical components, BOM structures, and engineering documentation.
• Interest in standardization and automated generation of electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a six-person team in Denmark and one in Turkey with clear priorities and accountability.
• Drive technical execution in electrical design, panel engineering, BOM development, and problem solving.
• Maintain high technical standards and safety compliance in all engineering activities.
• Develop standardized electrical designs and promote automation to improve efficiency.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Plan delivery, allocate resources, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
• Provide coaching and development for team members and foster cross-functional collaboration.
