Emerson seeks a Project Engineer, Mechanical Design, in Naestved, Denmark, to design, develop and deliver mechanical solutions for customer projects, collaborating with suppliers, customers and cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, technically sound outcomes.

You will support adaptation design, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to successful project delivery in a collaborative, innovative environment with strong emphasis on quality and value

Qualificações

• Experience in mechanical design or related technical discipline.
• Ability to create and review engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Proficiency with CAD tools: AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Danish and English proficiency.
• Legal authorization to work in Denmark.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical adaptations for customer projects and quotations.
• Review technical specifications from customers and suppliers.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Support project execution and ensure technical requirements and delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with sourcing, operations, sales, and project engineering teams.
• Drive design optimization balancing function, manufacturability, quality, lead time, cost.
• Manage engineering changes and ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mechanical engineering support for reviews, quotations, and knowledge sharing.
• Support FAT, installation, commissioning, and customer activities when required.
