Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to shape a new global support model for Research IT and lead IT projects across boundaries. Qualifications

• Substantial experience in senior IT project management, service delivery management or IT service management, ideally in a global or complex organisation.
• Demonstrated experience managing external suppliers, service performance and contract expectations, including escalation of delivery issues.
• Solid understanding of IT service-management principles, including incident and problem management; ITIL knowledge is relevant; formal certification is advantageous.
• Strong project leadership, facilitation and stakeholder-management capabilities across organisational and geographical boundaries.
• Independent and pragmatic working style, with strong communication skills and ability to prioritise multiple areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the operational and service-management activities required to establish consistent global Level 1 support for Research IT systems through an external managed-service provider.
• Facilitate smaller IT project workstreams and lead cross-organisational initiatives across Research IT.
• Provide structure, momentum and clear decision-making in a global, matrixed environment without directly managing people.
• Drive onboarding and implementation of the selected MSP, including governance, transition and seamless service delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and act as escalation point for critical issues.
• Establish and improve incident, problem, change and support processes across global Research locations.
• Lead cross-organisational initiatives independently, communicating progress to senior stakeholders and creating momentum across teams.
