Fuller Technologies is seeking a seasoned Head of Proposals to lead our global proposal function for Pyro& Grinding. You will own the entire lifecycle from qualification through handover to project execution, partnering with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and regional teams to deliver competitive, high-quality proposals for complex equipment and systems.

You will guide senior stakeholders, drive process improvements, and establish governance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field is required; Engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in proposals, bid management, sales, or related function in engineered equipment or EPC environments.
• Experience developing and managing complex proposals for engineered equipment, systems, or integrated solutions.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams through the proposal development process.
• Strong understanding of proposal development, cost estimation, pricing, terms, and contractual risk.
• Experience working with international customers and regional sales organizations.
• Familiarity with international contracting, ECAs, bank guarantees, and performance/warranty requirements preferred.
• Strong commercial judgment and understanding of proposal strategy, pricing, margin, and risk.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids.

Responsabilités

• Lead the global proposal function with consistent processes, standards, and best practices across regions.
• Manage the proposal pipeline and allocate resources by need and deadlines.
• Lead bid/no-bid decisions and advise on strategy, customer requirements, and competitiveness.
• Develop complex proposals for engineered equipment, systems, and integrated solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to address technical, financial, contractual, and execution needs.
• Set proposal schedules, milestones, and submission requirements.
• Ensure proposals define solution scope, pricing, terms, and value proposition.
• Review proposals for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with requirements.
• Support Sales during clarifications, negotiations, and revisions.
• Identify and manage commercial, financial, and contractual risks with Finance and Legal.
• Support pricing strategy, costs, margins, contingencies, and warranties.
• Ensure proper handover to project execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and other functions to develop complete solutions.
• Coach and develop the proposal team, monitor performance, and drive improvements.
