Job summary

Bavarian Nordic in Denmark is seeking a Global Distribution Network Optimization Lead for a 12–18 month assignment to improve our global distribution network, strengthen tools and insights, and build lasting capabilities.

You will analyze current networks, develop a prioritized roadmap balancing cost, service, lead time and resilience, and work with suppliers and stakeholders to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Experience in logistics sourcing, tenders, and carrier management.
• Proven track record in supplier performance management and cost trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the distribution network by developing a prioritized roadmap balancing cost, service, lead time, capacity and risk.
• Strengthen supplier strategy and performance with clear KPIs and governance.
• Build analytical tools, standards and governance for ongoing network optimization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and logistics partners to implement changes.
