GRAM A/S in Denmark seeks a General Manager to lead the Scandinavian business with full P&L accountability. You will shape strategy, accelerate growth, and implement a new go-to-market approach across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
You will review the current model, customer base and channels, and translate them into a profitable growth plan. Travel is expected within Scandinavia; place of work is Løsning, Denmark.
Lead the commercial transformation and growth across Scandinavia
As General Manager at GRAM, you will take the lead in driving the commercial transformation and growth of the Scandinavian market. You will be responsible for leading GRAM through its next phase of development, with full P&L accountability and a clear mandate to accelerate commercial growth and transformation, you will strengthen the existing business while shaping and implementing a new strategy and go-to-market approach.
A central task will be to review the current business model, customer base, sales channels and cost structure and translate this into a clear plan for profitable growth. Attention will be given to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland and to developing both existing and new sales channels.
The main responsibilities and tasks are:
Take overall responsibility for GRAM Denmark and Scandinavia, including P&L, commercial performance and agreed financial targets.
Define and implement a new go-to-market strategy and business model, including sales channels, pricing, logistics, warehousing and after-sales service.
Drive profitable top- and bottom-line growth and strengthen GRAM's market position in an increasingly competitive market.
Review and implement organisational structures, responsibilities, processes and reporting to support the new business model.
Lead the organisation through change while maintaining business continuity, operational efficiency, engagement and motivation.
Develop brand and marketing strategy and maintain close alignment with the Board, shareholders and HQ.
Your qualifications
You bring substantial commercial leadership experience and a strong track record with P&L responsibility. You have held a senior position such as CEO, General Manager or Sales Director in an international or local company and have experience leading changes to organisational structures and business models.
You have a strong understanding of market performance, pricing and commercial development and are comfortable translating strategy into execution. Experience from home appliances / major domestic appliances, consumer electronics or retail within these categories is preferred. Candidates from adjacent sectors such as non-food FMCG, automotive, electronics or technology may also be relevant if they bring comparable commercial and transformation experience. You communicate fluently in Danish and English and are comfortable working with IT and CRM systems.
Educationally you hold a Master's degree in Commercial Business Administration, an MBA or similar.
