Job summary

A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to push the boundaries of mechanical product development. The ideal candidate will design mechanical systems using SolidWorks, collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, and manage the entire process from concept to prototype. Applicants should be experienced, fluent in Danish and English, and have a strong theoretical foundation. The role offers a permanent contract with full-time hours in Sønderborg.

Qualifications

Experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong theoretical foundation.
Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
Understanding of relevant standards and regulations (ATEX, PED — a plus).

Responsibilities

Design mechanical systems in SolidWorks.
Perform mechanical analysis and sizing of new structures.

What You will Do

You will report to our Hardware Engineering Manager and work in cross‑functional project teams to develop tomorrow’s equipment. Your work will span from concept to prototype — and beyond.

Your tasks will include:

Designing and documenting mechanical systems in SolidWorks
Performing mechanical analysis and sizing of new structures
Creating schematic process diagrams in E‑plan
Preparing quality documentation and test specifications
Researching components and preparing technical specifications

What You Bring

You are an experienced Mechanical Engineer — ideally with international exposure — and you thrive in a structured, quality‑driven environment. You take ownership, involve stakeholders, and make decisions based on solid analysis.

Has a strong theoretical foundation and a passion for product development
Understands relevant standards and regulations (ATEX, PED — a plus!)
Communicates fluently in Danish and English, both written and spoken
