Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark seeks a Director, Head of Portfolio Management to establish and lead a strategic portfolio management function that enables smarter investment decisions and governance across our global portfolio.

You will build a high-performing team, drive end-to-end portfolio lifecycle, and partner with senior leaders to align priorities with strategic objectives, delivering maximum business value across Engineering, Workplace, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in portfolio management, programme leadership, or investment governance within large organisations.
• Proven track record of building or transforming portfolio management capabilities and operating models.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence senior stakeholders across global matrix organisations.
• Expertise in portfolio planning, prioritisation, governance, and strategic roadmap development.
• Strong analytical skills to translate complex portfolios into executive insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience implementing portfolio management frameworks and enterprise systems.
• Collaborative mindset with passion for continuous improvement and change.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a Portfolio Management function with governance across Engineering, Operations, Workplace.
• Own end-to-end portfolio lifecycle from demand to benefits realisation.
• Define and drive portfolio management strategy and enterprise system design.
• Partner with senior leaders to align investments with strategic objectives.
• Lead and develop a team of Portfolio Managers.
• Deliver portfolio insights, reporting, and governance for informed decisions.
• Identify and manage portfolio risks and dependencies.
• Champion continuous improvement of portfolio processes and tools.
