Job summary

LEGO Group in Denmark seeks a Director, Head of Portfolio Management to establish and lead a strategic portfolio function across Engineering, Operations, Workplace and capacity expansion projects. You will drive governance, transparency, and value realization for a global investment portfolio.

You will build a high-performing team, partner with senior leaders, and own end-to-end portfolio lifecycle from demand intake to benefits realization, in a hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in portfolio management, programme leadership, or investment governance within large, complex organisations.
• Proven ability to build or transform portfolio management capabilities and operating models.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across global matrix organisations.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing Portfolio Management function with governance and standards across Engineering, Operations, Workplace, and capacity expansion projects.
• Own end-to-end portfolio lifecycle from demand intake to benefits realisation and delivery oversight.
• Define and drive portfolio strategy and the enterprise portfolio management system.
• Partner with senior leaders to ensure investment priorities align with strategic objectives and business needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Portfolio Managers and foster a collaborative culture.
• Deliver portfolio insights, reporting, and governance for informed, transparent decision-making.
• Identify and manage portfolio risks, constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Champion continuous improvement of portfolio processes, governance, tools, and capabilities.
