Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Vertical Market Development Lead for HVAC & Refrigeration in Europe. You will craft and execute the regional vertical strategy, unlocking growth opportunities and strengthening customer partnerships across Europe.

The role travels up to 50% and can be based at any Danfoss Drives location in Europe. You will translate market insights into action, lead cross‑region collaboration, and influence strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, marketing, or vertical development within Drives (VFDs), HVAC, Refrigeration, or related.
• Strong understanding of HVAC & Refrigeration markets, customers, applications, and value chains.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies, go‑to‑market plans, and commercial initiatives.
• Skilled at leading through influence, building alignment across a matrix organization, and engaging stakeholders.

• Lead the development and execution of the HVAC & Refrigeration vertical strategy across Europe to drive growth, market penetration, and customer engagement.
• Develop regional go‑to‑market approaches by leveraging customer insights, market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive intelligence.

• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, system integrators, partners, and industry stakeholders to expand Danfoss' presence and create new business opportunities.
• Enable commercial success by providing market intelligence, sales guidance, training, and strategic support while helping secure a strong pipeline, portfolio mix, and pricing position.

The Impact You'll Make

As Vertical Market Development Lead for HVAC & Refrigeration in Europe, you will play a key role in shaping and accelerating Danfoss' growth within one of our most important market segments.

You will develop and drive the regional vertical strategy, helping customers address challenges related to energy efficiency, sustainability, and system performance. By combining deep market understanding with strong commercial leadership, you will identify growth opportunities, strengthen our market position, and support the successful execution of business priorities across Europe.

You'll join a global team driving growth and market development within HVAC & Refrigeration. Working closely with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders across regions, you'll help shape strategic initiatives and accelerate business growth. The role can be based at any Danfoss Drives location in Europe and requires travel of up to 50% of the time.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in business development, sales, marketing, or vertical development within Drives (VFDs), HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC & Refrigeration markets, customers, applications, and value chains.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies, go‑to‑market plans, and commercial initiatives.
• Skilled at leading through influence, building alignment across a matrix organization, and engaging stakeholders with credibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; experience with drives, automation, or energy‑efficient technologies is an advantage.
