Job summary

NORDEN is seeking a Data Scientist to help build analytics systems supporting risk measurement, financial performance, and decarbonisation initiatives within a global shipping company. You will work on end-to-end solutions in Azure, collaborating with risk, finance, and voyage teams to translate business needs into robust software.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in software systems or data-related roles.
• Degree in a relevant technical, economic, or mathematical field.
• Interest in software development and building robust solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytical solutions supporting key business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design, implement and support Azure-based applications in production.
• Contribute to risk measurement, financial performance analysis, and decarbonisation initiatives.
• Work across the full development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Continuously improve architecture, development practices, and operations.
