Job summary

Nordea in Copenhagen is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer to extend our data platform, integrate new data sources and build scalable analytics for trading decisions.

You will collaborate with a quant team, implement AI use cases, and develop internal tools for trading desks while maintaining a software engineering mindset.

Fluency in English and experience with Python/SQL are essential, and knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and AWS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics or data engineering, ideally using Python.
• Experience with SQL.
• An interest in asset management and financial markets.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Extend our data platform, adding new data sources and transformations in response to new business requirements.
• Build internal tools to support our trading desks.
• Assist with implementing AI use cases leveraging our data models.
• Drive projects within a value stream, binding together business and technology, to ensure we deliver tangible outcomes for our clients.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders, and our technology providers.
