Job summary

1 Hotel Copenhagen, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, seeks a Conference & Events Manager to plan and coordinate conferences and events with a client-focused approach. You will manage pre-planning, gather client needs, and align hotel departments to deliver seamless experiences.

You will work closely with Sales, F&B and operations, ensuring clear communication of event details, timelines and setups, while remaining the client’s main point of contact on event days.

Qualifications

• Experience in conference and event planning, hospitality or similar client-facing coordination role.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable guiding clients through planning processes and coordinating with hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planning and coordinating confirmed conferences and events.
• Act as the main client contact throughout the pre-planning process.
• Understand client needs, priorities and vision for their event.
• Bring together relevant hotel departments and ensure alignment on the event plan.
• Coordinate with Sales, F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and other teams.
• Manage room setups, timings, food & beverage, AV, guest flows and special requests.
• Prepare and communicate clear event information to relevant teams.
• Lead or participate in planning meetings and operational briefings.
• Stay close to the event day and serve as the client’s key contact.
• Anticipate challenges and collaborate to find solutions before issues arise.
• Ensure smooth handover between planning and operations.
• Build strong relationships with clients and hotel team members.
