Mane is seeking an experienced Appointed Person - Electrical for major data centre and mission-critical projects in Denmark. You will work with the SAP to ensure safe electrical works, manage permits, LOTO, and oversee testing, commissioning and energisation across LV systems.

The role involves coordinating with external testing/commissioning teams and ensuring all safety procedures are followed on site within a complex, industrial environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Appointed Person - Electrical to join a major European engineering and construction business delivering large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects in Denmark.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical professional looking to take on a key role within a major project environment, working alongside senior electrical and commissioning teams and taking responsibility for the safe control of electrical works through testing, commissioning and energisation.

The Role

As Appointed Person - Electrical, you will work closely with the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to ensure electrical works are planned and carried out safely in accordance with the project's Electrical Safe Systems of Work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and controlling electrical Permits to Work for energised activities.
• Implementing and monitoring Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
• Managing LOTO/isolation procedures and associated safety documentation.
• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and distribution topologies.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and energisation activities across LV systems.
• Coordinating with specialist testing and commissioning contractors.
• Reviewing commissioning sequences, test scripts and handover requirements.
• Liaising with SCADA, BMS and EMS control system providers.
• Witnessing electrical testing and ensuring all documentation is completed and signed off.
• Ensuring pre- and post-energisation activities are correctly controlled and documented.
• Verifying that electrical test equipment is available, suitable and correctly calibrated.
• Supporting daily commissioning, progress and look-ahead meetings.
• Providing guidance and mentoring to testing and commissioning personnel.
• Ensuring all personnel working within your area comply with the required electrical safety procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as an Appointed Person, Authorised Person or similar electrical safety position.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
• Experience managing electrical permits, isolations and LOTO.
• Practical experience across electrical testing, commissioning and energisation.
• Strong LV electrical systems knowledge.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and switchgear/distribution topology.
• Understanding of electrical protection and fault conditions.
• Experience working within data centres, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical or similarly complex environments.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• A proactive approach to electrical safety and project delivery.
