Kenton Black Limited seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical package delivery on a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark. You will coordinate across design, construction and commissioning teams to ensure on-time, compliant execution.

Ideal candidates bring extensive LV/MV experience, data centre know-how and strong communication in an international environment, with a track record of resolving technical issues and supporting handover.

Qualificações

• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications and submissions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership across the electrical package and coordinate with PM, site teams and subcontractors.
• Review electrical drawings, specs and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and support planning of installation works.
• Resolve technical queries and design issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure works meet project standards and requirements.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark.

The contractor is a leading European MEP specialist with a strong track record across the data centre and mission-critical sector, delivering major projects throughout Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and engineering support across the electrical package, working closely with the Project Manager, construction teams, subcontractors and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support and leadership across the electrical package.
• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinating electrical works with other project disciplines.
• Managing and resolving technical queries and design issues.
• Reviewing subcontractor designs, installation proposals and technical documentation.
• Supporting the planning and sequencing of electrical installation works.
• Working closely with site supervisors and electrical subcontractors.
• Monitoring installation quality and ensuring works meet project specifications.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Attending technical meetings and coordinating with the wider project team.
• Assisting with progress reporting and identifying potential technical or programme issues.

About You

We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with:

• Strong electrical engineering and construction experience.
• Experience working on large-scale electrical projects.
• Data centre / mission-critical experience is highly desirable.
• Experience within commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical or similarly complex environments will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and associated infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Strong understanding of installation, testing and commissioning processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy international project environment.
• Previous European project experience is advantageous.
