Job description
Tasks
- Processing of metal by manual forming and machining of components
- Processing and assembly of sub-assemblies made of composite materials
- Integration of components and systems into metallic structures according to technical specifications
- Documentation of work processes according to aeronautical standards
- Optimization and improvement of assembly processes on complex assemblies
- Allocation and management of materials according to production orders
- Carrying out a wide range of assembly activities such as riveting, gluing and screwing on sheet metal sub-assemblies (e.g. fire bulkheads, firewalls, firewalls).e.g. fire bulkheads, firewalls)
- Execution of prototype construction activities to test new assemblies and structures
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, mechanic or in a metalworking profession with many years of professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing and production, aircraft construction and mechanical processing, especially in aviation
- Good practical experience in sheet metal and sheet metal processing
- Business fluent German (min. C1) and basic English skills
- An existing, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) is mandatory
