• Design, develop, optimise, and maintain data architecture
• Design and maintain ingestion of multiple data sources
• Analyse, manipulate, transform, and process large and complex datasets
• Enable training and running machine learning models
• Build real-time data pipelines
• Help our customers to become cloud-native and data-driven companies
• Support your team with active knowledge transfer
• Be part of and influence the introduction of new tools, methodologies, and techniques
• Work in an agile environment and cross-functional team

This is you

At heart, you are a passionate team player who respects the opinions of your colleagues, with:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• At least 2 years of experience in either Python or Scala and SQL
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a relevant subject such as mathematics or physics
• Experience in semantic modelling of complex data landscapes and familiarity with concepts of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Vault, and Data Mart
• A deep understanding of various data stores, both structured and unstructured, and their capabilities (distributed filesystems, SQL, noSQL)
• Knowledge of structuring data pipelines for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Comfort working with analytics processing engines (e.g., Spark, Flink)
• Experience with different storage formats (JSON, Parquet, ORC) and their appropriate use cases
• Fluent English speaking skills
• Strong team player skills
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Decision-making based on metrics
• Structured approach and high quality standards
• Openness to new technologies

Additional experience in the following is a plus:

• Cloud technologies: Azure Synapse, Snowflake, AWS Athena, Google BigQuery
• Building real-time data pipelines using tools like Azure Stream Analytics, Amazon Kinesis, Google Cloud Dataflow, Kafka, RabbitMQ
