Responsibilities

As a HSE Project Manager, you will be responsible for all health, safety, and environmental aspects throughout the entire project lifecycle - from bid phase to execution.

  • Developing and issuing the HSE Project Program, defining the core components of the HSE management system
  • Ensuring effective communication and coordination with Client Representatives
  • Contributing to the preparation of procedures and work processes across all functional areas
  • Establishing a schedule for audits and reviews to ensure consistent HSE surveillance
  • Conducting regular evaluations of HSE procedures in collaboration with the Project Management team
  • Ensuring all project personnel are aware of and aligned with HSE objectives and requirements
  • Working closely with discipline leads and managers on all HSE-related matters
Profile
  • A degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in HSE roles within large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the electrochemical or chemical industry
  • Proven track record in managing HSE aspects during project execution, including site-based operations and commissioning
  • Solid understanding of international HSE standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 50%
  • A confident and adaptable approach to working in diverse cultural settings, ideally with prior experience in Asian and Middle Eastern regions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
