Slow is a collective of people, places and projects that reframe the way we live, work and interact. Founded by Claus Sendlinger & Peter Conrads, Slow builds and nourishes a network of locally rooted places that offer a deeper, more conscious form of travel — not a ‘pit stop’ away from the hectic pace of life but a continuous journey of reconnection, of learning to live in harmony with nature, our shared human heritage, our community, and ourselves.
In times of great haste, we dare to be slow. Not a mere shift in velocity but an altered state of being. We break cycles of distraction and destruction, opening deep chasms of reflection and spaces for energetic insight.
Our existing places include the working farmstead La Granja Ibiza, Tulum Treehouse, a hybrid space devoted to Mexican craft tradition, and SOFI, a small craft Bakery in the heart of Berlin. New projects include a beach restaurant in Caparica, Portugal, a reimagined noble house in Lisbon and two other developments in Portugal. In Berlin, we are in the process of establishing a creative campus at the intersection of wellbeing, culture and sustainability set along the historic Spree River Baths in one of Berlin’s most dynamic emergent culture quarters – Marina Marina. Home to the Slow Foundation, it will comprise an academy, creative studios, restaurants, a library, exhibition rooms, a hotel, and a subterranean performance space.
To support our finance team with day-to-day operations, we are looking for an Accountant at our headquarter in Berlin. You should have a genuine interest in trends within the hospitality world and be able to identify with the principles and ethos of the Slow vision. Content creation and community are core pillars for our businesses; prior experience working with these in a financial role would be highly valued. This is your opportunity to become part of the new paradigm in hospitality and help shape this domain for generations to come.
