Collectors is expanding its PSA operations to Germany and seeks a Workplace Manager for the new Frankfurt location. You will lead the Workplace team, ensure a safe, clean, and productive environment, and partner with business leaders to support growth and culture.

You will report to the Director of Workplace and work on site in Frankfurt. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of management experience, formal education, and fluency in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Develop and lead the Workplace experience and facilities operations for the Frankfurt PSA location.
• Build and coach the local Workplace team, including hiring and development.
• Manage third‑party custodial vendor relationships and ensure top-tier facility standards.
• Oversee and administer contracts, onboarding, insurance, and vendor performance.
• Create and maintain a preventative maintenance program for reliable operability.
• Oversee administrative functions: mail, calendars, supplies, and services.
• Serve as main contact for candidates, colleagues, and visitors onsite.
• Lead improvement projects with Operations, IT/Network, and Security teams.
• Contribute to health & safety initiatives and act as Safety Lead.
• Coordinate facilities equipment vendors and secure environments.
• Collaborate with other departments and upper management on facilities issues.
• Manage internal tickets and ensure timely responses.

We’re seeking a Workplace Manager to lead our team at the new PSA location in Frankfurt, Germany. This role ensures a safe, clean, and productive environment by protecting personnel, safeguarding assets, and managing facility access. Responsibilities include overseeing and developing the Workplace team, resolving internal and external issues, and partnering with business leaders to support growth and culture. You’ll report to the Director of Workplace for Collectors and work onsite at our Frankfurt office.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and own Workplace experience, Facilities operations for the PSA location in Frankfurt, Germany
• Lead the development of the future local Workplace team, both contract and full time hires, include hiring, training, coaching and career development
• Establish and foster the relationship with our third-party custodial vendor, working with both that group and the internal teams to achieve a flawless workspace while realizing top-tier facility standards
• Own Workplace vendor management and administrative responsibilities for the sites - processing contracts, onboarding vendors, coordinating insurance, managing vendor relationships & performance
• Develop and own a holistic preventative maintenance program for the site, ensuring reliable operability and a best-in-class facility for our staff and clients
• Oversee and streamline administrative functions at the sites including: mail, calendars, food and beverage program, copiers, office supplies, and employee services
• Serve as the key point of contact for candidates, colleagues, and visitors onsite
• Own and deliver continuous improvement projects in collaboration with the Operations, IT/Network and Security teams
• Contribute to projects to improve facility and employee health & safety, including serving as the Safety Lead
• Oversee and manage facilities equipment vendors for secure and operational environments.
• Liaise between Workplace and other departments, collaborating with upper management on relevant issues
• Manage internal customer tickets and requests through the ticketing platform, ensuring timely response and resolution
• Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security

Who You Are

• 5+ years of management experience, including 3+ years in Corporate Workplace and 1+ year in Operations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in German and English, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional, international teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to understand and relay company policies/procedures
• Influential leader with the ability to inspire/motivate, drive change, and build strong relationships across the organization
• Dependable, personable team player with excellent collaboration skills
• Strong team management and planning/organizational skills; adaptable and capable of developing/executing realistic action plans in a dynamic environment
• Preferred ability to use Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack, etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
• Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
• Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise, which may include noise from forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery.
• Hand Use: Power gripping when using low-precision, high-impact hand tools that require significant force, such as hammer drills and torque wrenches.
• Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75+ pounds, with employee help or with proper equipment.
• Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Temperature and Humidity: Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity.
• Walking: Ability to walk for long periods.

Pay Transparency Statement:

The salary range for this position is €91,932.96 - €121,581.34. Placement within the range is based on objective, gender-neutral factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or other variable compensation.
