Collectors Universe is expanding its European footprint with a new Germany operation. The role focuses on receiving, encapsulation, quality control, and shipping duties across the warehouse functions.

The candidate will collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate handling and timely fulfillment of orders, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Open, separate, and itemize department’s mail by service type.
• Match, count, and check items.
• Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility.
• Enter item information into the database and print stickers containing order details.
• Work with Customer Service and Problem Orders to resolve issues and expedite orders.
• Collaborate with Sales for orders that have special deals and/or pricing.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on special projects and deals.
• Encapsulate and seal event tickets.
• Learn gasket sizes and ticket holders.
• Crack-out and re‑seal event tickets as needed.
• Inspect assembled parts and products for defects.
• Verify submission form details, quantity, and labels.
• Sort orders by return carrier service.
• Verify order completeness and accuracy.
• Package orders and attach labels; process shipping.

We’re looking for an Operations Associate to join our team and handle receiving, encapsulation, quality control, and/or shipping responsibilities across the operation.

What You’ll Do:

• Open, separate, and itemize department’s mail by service type.
• Match, count, and check items.
• Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility.
• Enter item information into the database and print stickers containing order details.
• Work with the Customer Service and Problem Orders departments to resolve problems and expedite completion of customers’ orders.
• Work with the Sales department for orders that have special deals and/or pricing.
• Work with other cross‑functional teams on special projects and/or deals.
• Encapsulate and seal event tickets.
• Learning various sizes of gasket sizes and ticket holders.
• Crack‑out and re‑seal event tickets according to changes.
• Inspect assembled parts and product for defects and deviations.
• Verify information such as submission form details, product quantity, identification stickers, and labels.
• Sort all orders by return carrier service.
• Verify order correctness and completeness.
• Package orders in mailing box containers, seal with tape and attach outside labels.
• Process shipping for specified return carrier and close order.

Who You Are:

• You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Google Suite, e.g. Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
• You have good hand‑eye coordination and are comfortable with physical labor.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
• Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
• Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.
• Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up 50 lbs.
• Receiving and Inspecting Submissions: Ability to receive, and in some departments inspect, submissions.
• Ability to use a sharp blade and retrieve submissions from packaging.
• Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is €37,500. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non‑discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details. This role requires the candidate to pass a criminal background check.
