Job summary

Galaxus is building a state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Neuenburg am Rhein. As a Workflow Specialist you will be the system expert in the control center, ensuring a stable and high-performing goods flow by monitoring operations and KPIs, and intervening swiftly when deviations occur.

You will collaborate with Inbound, Outbound, Maintenance and IT teams to analyze alerts, document root causes, and adjust system parameters to optimize warehouse performance from day one.

Qualifications

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
• Experience in warehouse control, monitoring or a similar operational role.
• Ability to quickly identify bottlenecks, deviations, system errors and recurring patterns.
• Very good communication skills in German.
• English communication at level B2 (language classes provided if needed).
• Maintaining resilience and agility while adapting strategies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily warehouse and control center operations to ensure efficient goods flow, system performance and process execution.
• Analyze alerts, disruptions and inventory variances; coordinate timely resolution with Inbound, Outbound, Maintenance and IT teams.
• Monitor and adjust key system parameters in line with priorities and business needs.
• Document deviations, root causes, parameter changes and corrective actions in a clear, structured manner.
• Manage volume flows, priorities and area assignments based on capacity, system status and backlog development.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to support continuous optimization of warehouse operations.

We are building a new state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Neuenburg am Rhein. As a Workflow Specialist, you'll play a key role in our operations from day one. You will act as the system expert in the control center, ensuring a stable, transparent and high-performing flow of goods by monitoring operations, controlling relevant KPIs and intervening swiftly and systematically when deviations occur.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor daily warehouse and control center operations to ensure efficient goods flow, system performance and process execution
• Analyze alerts, disruptions and inventory variances, coordinating timely resolution with Inbound, Outbound, Maintenance and IT teams
• Monitor and adjust key system parameters in line with operational priorities and business needs
• Document deviations, root causes, parameter changes and corrective actions in a clear and structured manner
• Manage volume flows, priorities and area assignments based on capacity, system status and backlog development
• Identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities to support the continuous optimization of warehouse operations

Your skills

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field, or completed vocational training, with relevant further qualifications
• Experience in warehouse control, monitoring, process coordination or a comparable operational role
• Able to quickly identify bottlenecks, process deviations, system errors and recurring issue patterns
• Very good communication skills in German
• Good communication skills in English (Level B2). If you're not at that level yet, we support you achieving the needed competencies with language classes
• Maintaining resilience and agility while adjusting strategies as needed
