Our client in Munich is looking to recruit a skilled Windows Systems Administrator to join their expanding team

About the Role

Our client are looking for Windows Administrator (m/f/d) who will maintain, optimize at operating system level.

You’ll work at the intersection of IT, Unreal development, and XR technology

Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows 11–based systems
• Creation, management, and improvement of Group Policies (GPOs)
• Development and automation of processes using PowerShell scripts
• Analysis and troubleshooting of OS-level system issues
• Support in setting up and managing LAN and Wi‑Fi network structures
• Development of small tools and utilities in C/C++ (or other languages) to automate installations and improve system processes
• Development of monitoring and self‑healing tools for configuration management
• Documentation of system configurations and internal processes
• Close collaboration with IT and development teams to enhance infrastructure performance
• 2nd/3rd level IT support for German and international authorities
• Monitoring, testing, and rollout of updates for OS and related software

Your Skills

• Strong expertise in Windows system administration
• Confident handling of Windows Group Policies
• Programming skills in C and C++
• Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WLAN, DHCP, DNS, IP configuration)
• German language skills at C2 level
• You'll also be happy to work on site 5 days per week
