Zusammenfassung

Thales Group in Germany is seeking a motivated Werkstudent to contribute to Radar Systems Engineering. You will help develop radar data management solutions, build Python data pipelines, and implement ML-based data quality checks under the guidance of an experienced team.

Ideal candidates are students in STEM fields with basic Python, SQL, Git and CI/CD familiarity, plus an interest in radar technology and software engineering. This is a part-time role based in Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
• Basic programming experience in Python; familiarity with SQL, Git, CI/CD and containerization tools is advantageous.
• Practical experience working with data (e.g., ML or visualization).
• Interest in learning software engineering and radar fundamentals.

Aufgaben

• Develop radar data management solutions for machine learning and testing use cases.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines in Python, including signal processing steps.
• Implement data transformation and quality assessment processes, e.g. anomaly detection using machine learning.
