Zusammenfassung

Thales Group in Germany is seeking a working student (m/f/d) in Data Engineering & AI for Radar to join the Radar Systems Engineering department at the Ditzingen site. You will develop radar data management solutions for ML use cases, optimize Python data pipelines, and implement data transformation with quality assessment.

You will work on AI training data pipelines and gain mentoring from an experienced team.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
• Basic programming experience in Python; familiarity with SQL, Git, CI/CD and containerization tools is advantageous.
• Experience handling data for ML or visualization tasks is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop radar data management solutions for machine learning and testing use cases.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines in Python, including integration of signal processing steps.
• Implement data transformation and quality assessment processes, e.g. anomaly detection using machine learning.
• Develop new data pipelines for AI training, with opportunities to work on data collection and visualization.
• Work independently on a defined subproject with mentoring from an engineering team.

Your mission as "Werkstudent (m/f/d) within Radar Systems Engineering department in the Domain Surface Radar (SRA)":

• Developing radar data management solutions for machine learning and testing use cases
• Developing and optimizing data pipelines in Python, including the integration of signal processing steps
• Implementing data transformation and quality assessment processes, e.g. anomaly detection using machine learning
• Developing new data pipelines for AI training, with opportunities to work on data collection and visualization
• Working independently on a defined subproject with creative freedom and technical mentoring from an experienced engineering team
  
  
  

We are looking forward to:

• Student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable field
