Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp.'s Göttingen site is seeking a Warehouse Manager (f/m/d) to lead and develop the Receiving and Shipping team, plan workforce needs, and oversee daily operations to ensure accurate, on-time inbound and outbound logistics and high delivery performance.

You should have several years of leadership in warehouse logistics, strong SAP MM / Inventory Management expertise, and a track record of improving processes through digitalization and automation.

Qualifications

• Several years of leadership experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM / Inventory Management and hands-on experience managing inbound logistics, shipping, transportation, and inventory processes.
• Proven experience in analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing logistics processes with KPI-driven performance management.
• Excellent German and good English communication skills, with a structured, hands-on, and results-oriented leadership style.

• Lead and develop the Receiving and Shipping team, including workforce planning and daily operational management.
• Ensure efficient, accurate, and on-time inbound and outbound logistics processes while maintaining high delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze, optimize, and standardize logistics processes with a strong focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and quality.
• Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories while ensuring process compliance through SAP MM.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives across logistics and adjacent production processes.
• Lead cross-functional projects and serve as a key interface to Customer Service, Production, Quality, Procurement, and other business functions.
• Develop and coach team members and apprentices while ensuring compliance with safety, audit, regulatory, and company requirements.

Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Receiving and Shipping team, including workforce planning and daily operational management
• Ensure efficient, accurate, and on-time inbound and outbound logistics processes while maintaining high delivery performance and customer satisfaction

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in business administration, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally with a focus on warehouse logistics; trainer certification (AEVO) is an advantage
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, and inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM / Inventory Management and hands-on experience managing inbound logistics, shipping, transportation, and inventory processes
• Proven experience in analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing logistics processes, supported by KPI-driven performance management
• Experience leading digitalization and automation initiatives within logistics, ideally including scanning, barcode, and mobile data capture solutions.Knowledge of compliance requirements, customs and export regulations, and customer-specific shipping and documentation standards
• Excellent German and good English communication skills, combined with a structured, hands‑on, and results‑oriented leadership style
