Job summary

Jingdong Logistics (JD Logistics), part of JD.com, is seeking a strategic planning and systems design leader to optimize long‑term warehouse development, equipment allocation, and standardization across multiple sites worldwide.

You will oversee end‑to‑end operations, monitor KPIs, and drive efficiency through data‑driven decisions in a fast‑moving, global environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & System Design: Formulate long‑term warehouse development strategies and annual plans; design optimized layouts and allocation schemes to drive standardization and upgrades.
• End‑to‑End Operations Oversight: Manage inbound to outbound processes; monitor KPIs and optimize resource allocation for seamless operations.
• Cost Optimization & EfficiencyAnalysis: Identify savings opportunities in labor, equipment, and space; analyze cost drivers to improve efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Risk Management: Lead warehouse teams, recruit/ train, evaluate performance, and mitigate operational risks with safety at the core.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Service Innovation: Align with logistics, sales, and supply chain to resolve bottlenecks and enhance customer value.

Strategic Planning & System Design: Formulate long‑term warehouse development strategies and annual operational plans that strictly align with corporate objectives; design optimized warehouse layouts and equipment allocation schemes to drive standardization, intelligent upgrades, and significant improvements in operational efficiency.

End‑to‑End Operations Oversight: Manage the entire logistics lifecycle, from inbound receiving and storage to outbound order fulfillment; continuously monitor critical performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover ratesand accuracylevels, whileoptimizingtaskroutingandresourceallocation toensureseamless, error‑freeoperationsandminimizepotentiallosses.

Team Leadership & Risk Management: Lead the full spectrum of human resource management for the warehouse team, including recruitment, comprehensive training programs, and performance evaluations; optimize the organizational structure to enhance execution capabilities, while strictly enforcing safety protocols, managing major incident responses, and mitigating operational risks to ensure full compliance and a safe working environment.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Service Innovation: Partner closely with logistics, sales, and supply chain departments to align resources and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks; actively gather and analyze customer insights to refine service processes, thereby elevating customer satisfaction levels and strengthening the company's competitive advantage in the market.

About You

Strategic Vision & Technical Expertise: Possess a proven track record in strategic planning with the specific ability to design complex warehouse layouts and plan equipment allocation for intelligent upgrades; you should be well‑versed in industry best practices for standardization and digital transformation.

Operational Excellence & Data-Driven Mindset: Demonstrate deep expertise in managing end-to-end logistics workflows with a strong focus on data; you must be skilled in monitoring and analyzing key metrics like inventory turnover and accuracy to drive continuous process improvements and ensure high-quality, error-free operations.
