Job summary

BERNER Group is seeking a Warehouse Excellence Manager to lead process improvements across Köln and Künzelsau. You will define standards, establish KPI frameworks, and drive lean initiatives in warehousing, WMS, and ERP programs.

The role requires a bachelor in Economics or Logistics, solid warehousing knowledge, SAP/WMS/Power BI experience, strong stakeholder management, and travel willingness. Fluent in English and German.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Economics and/or Logistics or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, logistics operations, performance management, and process standardization.
• Experience developing and implementing KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with warehouse and logistics systems such as SAP, WMS, Power BI, or similar solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills, with experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Willingness to travel; Fluent in English & German.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and harmonize global warehousing standards, policies, operating procedures, and best practices across all locations.
• Establish and manage KPI frameworks to monitor operational performance, process compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyze warehousing performance, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process and efficiencies and effectiveness through the implementation of lean projects.
• Support logistics transformation and digitalization initiatives, including the optimization of operational systems such as WMS & ERP.
