Zusammenfassung

BERNER Group sucht eine erfahrene Leitung für das mehrjährige Transformationsprogramm im Bereich Warehouse/Logistik. Sie übernehmen End-to-End-Verantwortung, steuern WMS-Implementierung, koordinieren interdisziplinäre Teams aus Operations, IT, Intralogistik, Bau, Finanzen und Einkauf.

Sie verfügen über langjährige Führungserfahrung, beherrschen WMS-Migrationen und sprechen fließend Deutsch und Englisch. Die Position erfordert Vor-Ort-Arbeit in unseren Standorten Künzelsau/Ingelfingen und bietet

Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Gesamtprojektleiter, Programmmanager oder Senior Project Lead in komplexen Lager-, Logistik- oder Intralogistikprojekten.
• Nachweisliche Umsetzung von Retrofit-/Brownfield- Transformationsprojekten während laufender Lagerbetriebe.
• Umfassende Erfahrung in WMS-Implementierungen oder Migrationen, inkl. Testing, Cutover und Inbetriebnahme.
• Vertraut mit automatisierter Fördertechnik, Shuttle-Systemen, Hochregallager, Pick & Pack Abläufen und Materialfluss.
• Erfahrung im Management groß angelegter Investitionsprojekte und cross-funktionaler Projektstrukturen.
• Starke Stakeholder-Kommunikation auf allen Ebenen von Shopfloor bis Vorstand.
• Strukturierte, lösungsorientierte und durchsetzungsstarke Arbeitsweise.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse; Bereitschaft, vor Ort zu arbeiten (Künzelsau/Ingelflingen).

Aufgaben

• End-to-End-Verantwortung für das mehrjährige Retrofit-/Intralogistik- und WMS- Transformationsprogramm über alle Standorte.
• Führung mehrerer funktionsübergreifender Arbeitsströme; Koordination interner und externer Partner aus Operations, IT, Intralogistics, Bau, Finanzen, Einkauf.
• Verantwortung für Zeitpläne, Budgets, Qualität, Risiken, Abhängigkeiten und Business Continuity.
• Überwachung der Implementierung und Integration des neuen WMS inkl. Prozessdesign, Tests, Migration, Cutover und Ramp-up.
• Koordination Retrofit-, Automatisierungs- und Bauaktivitäten, z.B. Fördertechnik, Hochregallager, Pick & Pack.
• Sicherstellung minimaler Beeinträchtigungen des laufenden Betriebs während Umsetzungsphasen.
• Management externer Planer, Lieferanten, IT-Partner; Unterstützung von Genehmigungsprozessen.
• Vorbereitung und Moderation von Steering Committees und Management Reviews; Erstellung von Entscheidungsunterlagen für Senior Management.

Are you ready to take responsibility for a strategically important logistics transformation program - from planning through to successful implementation?

For one of our Powerhouses we plan to re-design the complete Warehouse Set-Up incl. a new WMS, you will take over the full project responsibility for the transformation on all relevant sites.

The aim of this multi-year transformation program is to develop our existing logistics sites into a future-proof Solution. The program combines warehouse retrofitting, intralogistics, automation and the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System – all while maintaining ongoing operations.

YOUR TASKS

• You will take end-to-end responsibility for managing the multi-year warehouse retrofit, intralogistics and WMS transformation program across our logistics sites.
• You will lead several cross-functional workstreams and coordinate internal and external project partners from Operations, IT, Intralogistics, Construction, Finance, Purchasing and other departments.
• You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, quality, risks, dependencies and business continuity.
• You will oversee the implementation and integration of the new WMS, including process design, testing, migration, cutover and ramp-up.
• You will coordinate retrofit, automation and construction activities, ranging from conveyor technology and shuttle systems to high-bay warehouses, pick & pack operations and expansions.
• You will ensure that construction and transformation activities are carried out during ongoing operations with minimal impact on delivery capability and service levels.
• You will manage external planners, suppliers, IT and intralogistics partners, as well as relevant approval processes.
• You will prepare and facilitate Steering Committees and Management Reviews and develop decision‑making documents for Senior Management and the Executive Board.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have several years of experience as an Overall Project Manager, Program Manager or Senior Project Lead in complex warehouse, logistics or intralogistics projects.
• You have a proven track record of successfully implementing retrofit, brownfield or comparable transformation projects during ongoing warehouse operations.
• You have extensive experience in WMS implementations or migrations, including testing, cutover and ramp-up.
• You are familiar with automated conveyor technology, shuttle and goods‑to‑person systems, high‑bay warehouses, pick & pack operations and material flow processes.
• You have experience in managing large‑scale investment projects and complex, cross‑functional project structures.
• You demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and communicate confidently at all levels, from the shop floor to Executive Management and the Executive Board.
• You have a structured, solution‑oriented and assertive approach and maintain an overall perspective, even in highly complex project environments.
• Very good German and English language skills, along with a strong willingness to work on‑site, particularly in Künzelsau and Ingelfingen, complete your profile.
