Job summary

Berner is seeking a logistics professional to drive process improvements and standardize warehousing practices across locations. You will define KPIs, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on lean initiatives and digitalization projects such as WMS and ERP.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with SAP/WMS/Power BI, and excellent stakeholder management in international environments. A willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent in Economics and/or Logistics.
• Several years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and performance management.
• Experience building KPI frameworks and reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP, WMS, Power BI or similar systems.

Responsibilities

YOUR TASKS

• Identify, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and operational performance.
• Define, maintain, and harmonize global warehousing standards, policies, operating procedures, and best practices across all locations.
• Establish and manage KPI frameworks to monitor operational performance, process compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyze warehousing performance, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process and efficiencies and effectiveness through the implementation of lean projects
• Support logistics transformation and digitalization initiatives, including the optimization of operational systems such as WMS & ERP.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor in Economics and/or Logistics or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, logistics operations, performance management, and process standardization.
• Experience developing and implementing KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with warehouse and logistics systems such as SAP, WMS, Power BI, or similar solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills, with experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent in English & German, further language skills advantageous
