Jobtailor is seeking an experienced online educator to deliver CSEC curriculum across multiple subjects. The role requires designing interactive lessons, leveraging digital tools, and providing timely feedback to support student progress.

The successful candidate will teach at least two subjects, conduct three sessions per week per subject, and participate in planning meetings while meeting QA standards.

• Plan and facilitate engaging online lessons aligned with the CSEC syllabus in the instructor’s subject specialisation
• Prepare students for internal assessments, School-Based Assessments where applicable, and external CSEC examinations
• Develop lesson materials, practice exercises, past-paper activities, quizzes and assessments
• Use online platforms, simulations, multimedia, collaborative tasks and other enrichment tools to enhance learning
• Provide timely marking, feedback and targeted support based on learner performance
• Track attendance, participation, assessment results and student progress; identify learners requiring intervention
• Maintain accurate student-performance records and submit required reports on time
• Use virtual classroom-management strategies to maintain learner engagement and participation
• Participate in professional development
• Comply with programme schedules, reporting requirements and quality-assurance standards

Requirements

• A recognised undergraduate degree in Education or the relevant subject area
• At least three (3) years’ teaching experience in a school setting
• Demonstrated experience teaching the CSEC curriculum in the relevant subject specialisation
• Strong knowledge of CSEC assessment requirements, examination preparation and student-performance analysis
• Strong subject-matter knowledge in Mathematics, English A, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology or Physics
• Ability to design structured, interactive and differentiated online lessons
• Strong digital literacy and confidence using virtual teaching platforms and educational technology
• Knowledge of best practices in remote instruction, online learner engagement and virtual classroom management
• Effective assessment design, marking, data analysis and intervention-planning skills
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Availability between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
• Availability for Saturday classes where required
• Ability to teach a minimum of two subject classes, with three sessions per week per subject
• Ability to attend planning meetings, training and assessment-related activities as scheduled
