The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and an active Oregon teaching license with endorsements, plus CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current State of Oregon Teaching License.

• TSPC Elementary-Multiple Subjects endorsement or equivalent.
• One year teaching experience in subject area or completion of Oregon internship.
• Three years experience preferred.
• Dedicated workspace with reliable internet for teleconferencing.
• Knowledge of Internet and web technologies.

Aufgaben

• Provide instructional services for families and students in a virtual program.

• Initiate and conduct regular parent/student meetings via technology platforms.
• Complete daily and monthly reports.
• Respond to student portfolios, report cards, emails, texts, and calls daily.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets for student and family data.
• Collaborate with Special Ed team as caseload requires.
• Attend all required virtual meetings.
• Plan and teach weekly virtual classes.
• Travel to and manage field trips in various locations.

• Guide instructional plans according to individual student needs using a variety of curricula and virtual tools.
• Initiate, plan, and carry out regular and required parent/student meetings via technology platforms.

• Answer and respond to student portfolio submissions, report cards, emails, texts, and phone calls on a daily basis.
• Maintain tracking/spreadsheet of student and family data.
• Communicate and meet with the Special Ed team as caseload requires.
• Attend and participate in all required company and program virtual meetings.
• Plan and teach weekly virtual classes.
• Travel to and manage field trips in a variety of locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Current State of Oregon Teaching License
• Endorsements as required by the Oregon Department of Education
• Educational Specialists must have obtained the TSPC Elementary-Multiple Subjects or its equivalent license endorsement
• One year of successful teaching experience within the subject area OR successful completion of an Oregon instructional internship program
• Three years experience, preferred
• Must have a dedicated workspace free from distractions with consistent and reliable high-speed internet access for teleconferencing
• Operational knowledge of the Internet and Web-related technologies
• Able to adequately meet legal requirements for performing this position
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Obtain CPR and First Aid certification
