Zusammenfassung

Eight Advisory is looking for an ambitious intern to join the Transaction Services team in Munich or Frankfurt starting January 2027 for 3–6 months. You will assist in planning, executing and delivering financial due diligence for buy- and sell-side transactions with a focus on supporting private equity and corporate clients.

You will be mentored throughout the internship, gain on-the-job experience in M&A processes, and may be offered a permanent position after a successful internship.

Qualifikationen

• Motivated, proactive, reliable and stress-resistant.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor-/master’s degree with preferably Finance major.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS; accounting knowledge; German GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent German and professional written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel); PowerBI is a plus.
• Internship duration of at least 3 months.

Aufgaben

• Support Transaction Services as a fully integrated team member on planning, executing and delivering financial due diligence for buy- and sell-side transactions.
• Assist in delivering due diligence reports and financial analyses for international and national clients.
• Learn and apply on-the-job training on M&A mechanics from experienced mentors.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Transaction Services team in Munich or Frankfurt as an Intern from January 2027 (3-6 months). The Transaction Services team mainly provides buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to support its private equity and corporate clients in M&A processes.

You will support us as fully integrated team member on planning, executing and delivering Transaction Services (primarily Financial Due Diligence in buy- and sell-side transactions) for international and national private equity and corporate clients.

With a full involvement from the beginning to the end you will get an intensive training on the job on our Financial Due Diligence projects to understand the mechanisms of buy- and sell-side M&A processes.

You will be coached by a mentor who is available at any time to support you with professional or personal advice. Graduates may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent position after a successful internship.

Job requirements

• Motivated, proactive, reliable and stress-resistant
• Currently pursuing a bachelor- (5./6. semester) / master’s degree from a recognized university or business school with preferably a major in Finance, Accounting, business administration or similar
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting, knowledge of German GAAP is a plus
• Excellent German and professional written and spoken English
• Excellent analytical skillset and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel); experience with analytical tools e.g. PowerBI is a plus
• Previous internships or work experience in finance e.g. audit/ accounting/ M&A/ Controlling is a plus
• Available for a term of at least 3 months
