Eight Advisory in Hamburg is looking for a motivated Intern to join its Project Finance & Infrastructure team for the summer of 2027. This role offers hands-on experience on real transactions in infrastructure and energy sectors.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Project Finance & Infrastructure team in Hamburg as an Intern in summer 2027 (3-6 months). As part of our collaborative and international team, you will work on real transactions in the infrastructure, energy and renewables sectors - not just as a spectator, but as a valued contributor.
As an Intern, you will:
Support financial and transaction advisory projects for national and international clients: project developers, private equity firms, and infrastructure funds
Learn the fundamentals of financial modelling, financial engineering, M&A and debt structuring through our learning-by-doing approach
Work closely with experienced team members and benefit from a dedicated mentor for personal and professional guidance
Contribute to deals that support the transition to sustainable infrastructure

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect the following from our future intern:
You are currently pursuing a master’s degree, ideally in finance, business, economics or related fields
You are motivated, proactive, and reliable
You are curious about financial modelling
Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting; German GAAP is a plus
Fluent in German and English
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with tools like Power BI or Power Query is a plus
Available for a minimum of 3 months
