Position Overview

Transaction Services – Intern (January 2027, 3–6 months). The internship is based in Munich or Frankfurt and focuses on buy‑side and sell‑side financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the Transaction Services team throughout the planning, execution, and delivery of Financial Due Diligence projects for international and national private equity and corporate clients.
• Participate fully in all phases of the due‑diligence process to receive intensive on‑the‑job training and to understand buy‑side and sell‑side M&A mechanisms.
• Receive coaching from a mentor available for professional and personal guidance; successful interns may be offered a permanent position.

Job Requirements

• Motivated, proactive, reliable, and stress‑resistant.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (5th or 6th semester) in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting; familiarity with German GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent German and professional written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with PowerBI or similar analytical tools is a plus.
• Previous internships or work experience in finance (audit, accounting, M&A, controlling) is a plus.
• Available for a minimum of three months.
