Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a skilled Facility Management professional to oversee and improve technical systems across HVAC, electrical, and building services. You will conduct inspections, support modifications, and coordinate contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have vocational training in electrical/HVAC sectors, several years of facility management experience, and strong German and good English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, cleanrooms, laboratories, and heating, electrical, water, and wastewater systems

• Facility Systems Management: Support and oversee additional building services systems such as fire alarm systems, security systems, time and attendance systems, and elevators
• Construction and Modification Work: Carry out structural modifications and technical adjustments in accordance with defined requirements
• Inspections & Facility Walkthroughs: Perform preventive inspections and regular walkthroughs of technical equipment and systems
• Documentation: Document facility modifications and monitor compliance with applicable regulations and standards
• Contractor Coordination: Coordinate appointments, supervise external service providers, and verify the quality of completed work
• Continuous Improvement: Support the optimization of technical systems and facility management processes
• VEFK Function: Depending on qualifications and suitability, assume the role of Responsible Electrically Skilled Person (VEFK)

Qualifications:

• Qualifications: Completed vocational training as an electrical, heating, ventilation, or sanitary/HVAC technician, or a comparable technical qualification

• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in facility management or building services engineering
• Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of technical systems and equipment
• Electrical Qualification: Qualification as a Responsible Electrically Skilled Person (VEFK) is advantageous or can be obtained in the future
• IT Skills: Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills
• Working Style: Independent, structured, and quality-conscious approach to work
• Personal Competencies: Team-oriented, committed, proactive, and responsible
• Languages: Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, as well as good English language skills
