Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a maintenance technician to analyze faults in production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document actions carefully. You will work on operating equipment and electrical infrastructure, replacing parts when needed.

You should bring hands-on technical skills, safety-conscious work habits, and the ability to adapt to a 4-shift system. German language proficiency at C1 is required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electronics technician).
• Experience in industrial maintenance or production environment is advantageous.
• Able to understand technical contexts and enjoy varied tasks rather than routine.
• Willingness to work in a fully continuous 4‑shift system.
• German language proficiency at C1 level.

You replace parts, components as well as auxiliary and additional equipment, or manufacture them yourself if required

You actively contribute your ideas to technical improvements, safety topics and process optimizations

Qualifications

You have completed technical vocational training, for example as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electronics technician for industrial engineering, or in a comparable profession
Professional experience in industrial maintenance or a production environment is an advantage, but not essential
You quickly understand technical contexts and enjoy varied tasks rather than pure routine
Safety, quality and a reliable way of working are important to you in your daily interaction with equipment
Working in a fully continuous 4-shift system fits your personal circumstances
Basic knowledge of MS Office and experience with EAM tools for managing and optimizing technical assets are helpful, but not mandatory
You are fluent in German, at least at C1 level
