Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a technically skilled maintenance specialist to analyze faults in production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document actions accurately.

You will replace parts, repair electrical infrastructure, and contribute to safe, reliable production operations. Fluent German (C1) and experience with MS Office and EAM tools are helpful.

This role requires flexible shift work in a 4-shift system and a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training (industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electronics technician for industrial engineering or similar).
• Professional experience in industrial maintenance or production environment is an advantage.
• Ability to quickly understand technical contexts and handle varied tasks.
• Safety and quality mindset, reliable workmanship in daily equipment interaction.

You independently carry out preventive maintenance and repair work on operating equipment as well as on the electrical infrastructure
You replace parts, components as well as auxiliary and additional equipment, or manufacture them yourself if required

Qualifications

You have completed technical vocational training, for example as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electronics technician for industrial engineering, or in a comparable profession
Professional experience in industrial maintenance or a production environment is an advantage, but not essential
You quickly understand technical contexts and enjoy varied tasks rather than pure routine
Safety, quality and a reliable way of working are important to you in your daily interaction with equipment
Working in a fully continuous 4-shift system fits your personal circumstances
Basic knowledge of MS Office and experience with EAM tools for managing and optimizing technical assets are helpful, but not mandatory
You are fluent in German, at least at C1 level
