Schneider Electric is seeking a technical expert for AC and DC charging solutions within the eMobility team in Raunheim, near Frankfurt. You will resolve complex issues, collaborate with international R&D teams, and drive improvements across the EV charging portfolio.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or related field, 3–5 years in EV charging support/R&D, strong OCPP knowledge, and fluency in English. German/French is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or similar.
• 3–5 years in technical support, field service, or R&D in EV charging, automotive, or renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of EV charging technologies and OCPP.
• Experience diagnosing complex technical issues and reading log files.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and customer-focused.
• Excellent communication and international collaboration skills.
• Basic Python or scripting skills (advantage).
• Fluent English; German or French is a strong plus.
• Valid EU driving license.

Aufgaben

• Lead root cause analysis for escalated AC/DC charging issues.
• Troubleshoot vehicle–charger interoperability, power electronics, software, and protocols (OCPP, ISO 15118, IEC 61851).
• Serve as the interface between European support teams and R&D.
• Ensure timely resolution of support cases in line with SLAs.
• Analyze trends to improve product performance.
• Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training content.
• Support and empower L1/L2 teams through knowledge sharing.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis for escalated AC/DC charging issues
