Job summary

Nash Technologies Germany GmbH in Böblingen seeks an experienced Licensing Applications Support professional to join the Licensing Application Team. You will provide expert technical support for software licensing systems and license servers, ensuring reliable operation of business-critical applications across global environments.

The role requires a degree in CS/IT/Engineering and strong knowledge of Linux/Windows, networking, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field with experience in software licensing or enterprise application support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals and license server administration.
• Proven technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve software licensing, system, network and integration issues globally.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and handling of incidents, escalations and stakeholder interactions.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities including root cause analysis and trend identification.
• Experience with process automation and scripting (Shell/PowerShell/Python) and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for software licensing systems and license servers.
• Manage and resolve licensing incidents and escalations with high customer satisfaction.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement to reduce recurring licensing issues.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, training materials, and standardized support processes.
• Collaborate globally with Product Management, IT and Field Service teams to support licensing operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for software licensing systems, license servers and customer deployment environments
• Manage and resolve licensing incidents and escalations while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement to reduce recurring licensing issues
• Develop and maintain support documentation, training/documentation and standardized support processes
• Collaborate globally with Product Management, IT and Field Service teams to support licensing operations and business objectives
