Your Role
  • Take ownership of all tax-related topics within the Solaris Group working with specialized consultants where needed.
  • Manage tax matters between Solaris its subsidiaries and branches including preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain robust processes to meet the diverse tax requirements.
  • Advise business units on the tax implications of new financial products and initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors ensuring all requested documentation is prepared and delivered accurately.
  • Support related accounting areas (AP AR Payroll) and understand the interconnections between these areas and tax.

  • Education degree in business economics / administration with a focus on Tax / Accounting.
  • 5 years of tax related working experience in Finance Accounting or Auditing.
  • Solid understanding of Accounting and Tax Standards (IFRS HGB and German Tax Law).
  • Analytical mindset attention to detail and high integrity.
  • Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to develop and improve processes independently.
  • Proficiency with Excel Word and PowerPoint; experience with SAP S / 4HANA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are highly advantageous.
Working Model
  • Youre based in Berlin or nearby
  • We work in a hybrid setup and expect you to be in the office two days per week to connect with your finance peers and business partners.
