Job summary

Coherent Deutschland sucht eine engagierte Praktikantin oder einen Praktikanten im technischen Bereich zur Mitwirkung in der Entwicklung und Fertigung von elektro-optischen Baugruppen.

Sie arbeiten an der Vorbereitung und dem Betrieb halbautomatisierter Montage- und Verbindungstechnik, führen mechanische Charakterisierungen durch und erstellen technische Dokumentationen. Englischkenntnisse und Deutsch ab B2 sind erwünscht; MS Office-Kenntnisse sind hilfreich.

Qualifications

• Immatrikuliert in einem technischen oder naturwissenschaftlichen Studiengang.
• Grundkenntnisse in Mikrosystemtechnik und Elektronikmontage.
• Technische Begabung und Interesse an kleinen Bauteilen.
• Schnelle Auffassungsgabe, sorgfältige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise.
• Gute Englischkenntnisse, Deutsch mindestens B2.
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen semiautomatisierter und automatisierter Montages- und Verbindungstechnik.
• Manuelle Montage, Reparatur und Vorbereitung von elektro-optischen Baugruppen.
• Mechanische Charakterisierung von Baugruppen und Bauteilen mit Messmikroskopie.
• Dokumentation erstellen, vorbereiten und pflegen.

Job Description

• - Preparation and operation of semi-automated and automated assembly and interconnection equipment for the manufacture of electro-optical assemblies in a development environment
• - Manual activities related to the assembly, repair and preparation for repair of electro-optical assemblies
• - Mechanical characterization of electro-optical assemblies and components using modern measurement microscopy and destructive testing methods
• - Creation, preparation and maintenance of technical documentation

Qualifications

• - Currently enrolled in a scientific or technical degree program, e.g. electrical engineering, electronics, microsystems engineering, process engineering, information and communications engineering, mechatronics or physics
• - Basic knowledge of microsystems engineering and assembly and interconnection technology used in electronics manufacturing
• - Technical aptitude and an interest in working with small and very small components and assemblies
• - Ability to learn quickly, combined with a careful and structured approach to work
• - Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• - Team player with flexibility and a reliable working style
• - Good English skills
• - German language skills at least at B2 level
