Job summary

Oxford Instruments’ WITec GmbH in Ulm, Germany, seeks a Production Technician for module assembly of optoelectronic components and laser sources. You will contribute to high-resolution microscopy systems within a global nanotechnology group.

Responsibilities include assembling microscopes in Ulm, performing quality measurements, and documenting system parameters with flexible hours and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Completed technician training in mechatronics or electrical engineering.
• Very good knowledge of German, written and spoken, and good command of English.
• Knowledge of the most common Office applications is a prerequisite.

To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated colleague to join our production team in Ulm, Germany.

Your Tasks:

• Assembly and adjustment of optoelectronic components and laser sources
• Assembly of our high-tech microscopes in our production in Ulm
• Carrying out quality-relevant test measurements
• Commissioning of the devices and documentation of the system parameters

Your Qualifications:

• Completed technician training in the fields of mechatronics or electrical engineering
• Basic knowledge in optics is an advantage
• A precise and very careful way of working is indispensable
• Knowledge of the most common Office applications is a prerequisite
• Very good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken, as well as a good command of English
