Job summary

NAXCON GmbH in Oberkochen, Germany, is seeking a Mechatronics Development Engineer to design and validate advanced mechatronic concepts for microlithography optics. You will model, simulate and optimize dynamic systems, and co-develop control algorithms for precise positioning of components.

Leading an interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with customers and partners to derive specifications, validate prototypes, and deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Cybernetics or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in the development of complex mechatronic systems, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong expertise in system analysis (frequency and time domain) and dynamic analysis of mechanical systems (MBS, FEM, structural dynamics, modeling methods), experience in validation of dynamic models and very good MATLAB skills
• Ideally, knowledge in related disciplines such as actuators/sensors, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, optical engineering as well as systems engineering
• An independent and systematic way of working, very good organizational and communication skills, strong assertiveness as well as experience in decision making, delegation, stakeholder management and fostering team members
• Enjoyment of working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a highly dynamic environment, combined with a high level of commitment and performance orientation
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken; good German skills are an advantage
