Zusammenfassung

TE Connectivity is seeking an experienced AQE professional to ensure quality and compliance throughout New Product Development, from concept through PPAP release. You will interface between customers and TE, guiding the engineering team in FMEA and statistical analyses to meet AIAG/VDA standards.

The role requires an engineering degree and 3–5 years in automotive quality, with strong communication and intercultural collaboration skills, plus readiness to travel within EMI regions.

Qualifikationen

  • Engineering degree with specialization in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in quality, ideally from the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of APQP according to AIAG / VDA.
  • Knowledge of PPAP / PPA according AIAG / VDA.
  • Knowledge into statistical analysis, MSA & Capability studies.
  • Knowledge in FMEA methodology.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949-2016.

Aufgaben

  • Ensure compliance with product quality specifications, customer requirements, APQP and process needs during the product and process design phase until formal release (incl PPAP).
  • Lead AQE activities in New Product Development projects and support Design Reviews, feasibility studies, and the project team.
  • Moderate and guide Engineering in completing FMEA using APIS, design-FMEA and process-FMEA per VDA/AIAG standards.
  • Provide statistical data evaluation support with MSA (QDAS SOLARA) and process capabilities (Cmk/Cpk) using qs-STAT.
  • Develop prototype and pre-launch control plans and ensure 0 incidents to avoid customer complaints.

Job Description:

Job Overview

The job objective is to ensure compliance with product quality specifications, customer requirements, APQP and process needs during the product and process design phase according to New-Product-Development lifecycle until the formal product and process release (incl PPAP) is achieved.

Job Requirements
  • We are responsible for all typical APQP deliverables between starting of project until the SOP (PPAP)
  • AQEs are part of an New Product Development project core team evaluating together the customer requirements
  • Attending feasibility studies in Design Reviews within the concept - , development- and industrialize phase
  • Advanced Quality Engineering (AQE) is the main interface contact related all Quality topics between customer and TE during New Product Development Lifecycle
  • Moderating, guiding the Engineering team in completion of FMEA by using Software “APIS”, Design-FMEA and Process-FMEA according to VDA/AIAG standards
  • Support and advice Manufacturing Engineering with statistical data evaluation regarding to Measurement System Analysis (MSA) with QDAS Software SOLARA
  • Support and advice Manufacturing Engineering with statistical data evaluation regarding to Process Capabilities Cmk/Cpk with QDAS Software qs-STAT
  • AQE engineers are creating prototype and pre-launch control plans incl Safe Launch activities within the Project Team during New Product Development Lifecycle
  • AQE is accountable for 0 incidents approach to avoid related customer complaints (Lesson Learned)
  • AQE supports the Project Core Team for knowledge of Quality Standards within organization (preparation of internal/external Audits, APQP trainings, quality mindset
What your background should look like
  • Engineering degree with specialization in mechanical/electrical engineering or similar
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in quality ideally from the automotive industry

  • Basic Knowledge in problem solving methodologies
  • Familiar with different production processes (assembly, molding, etc.)
  • Travel readiness within EMI
