Zusammenfassung

TE Connectivity Corporation sucht einen Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) in Deutschland, Hessen, für das Produkt- und Prozessdesign über den gesamten Entwicklungslebenszyklus bis zur Freigabe. Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in einem relevanten Ingenieurwesen (Maschinenbau, Elektronik).
  • 3–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Qualitätsingenieurwesen, ideally in der Automobilindustrie.
  • Gute Kenntnisse von APQP, PPAP, FMEA und ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
  • Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeit in Deutsch und Englisch, kundenorientiert.
  • Bereitschaft zur Reisetätigkeit im EMI-Gebiet.

Aufgaben

  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Qualitätsstandards während Produkt- und Prozessdesignphase bis zur Freigabe.
  • Durchführung von FMEA mit APIS, Design- und Prozess-FMEA gemäß VDA/AIAG.
  • Unterstützung bei statistischer Auswertung von Messdaten (MSA) und Prozessfähigkeit (Cmk/Cpk).
  • Entwicklung von Prototype/Pre-Launch-Control-Plans und Safe Launch Aktivitäten.
  • Unterstützung des Projektteams beim Audit- und Schulungsprogramm.

Job Overview

Job Requirements
  • The Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) is responsible for all APQP elements from project launch through SOP, including PPAP approval
  • AQEs are part of a cross-functional core team for new product development, jointly assessing customer requirements and quality expectations
  • Participation in feasibility studies and design reviews throughout the concept, development, and industrialization phases
  • Advanced Quality Engineering serves as the primary interface for all quality-related matters between the customer and TE throughout the entire new product development lifecycle
  • Facilitate and guide engineering teams in conducting FMEAs using the APIS software tool, including Design FMEA and Process FMEA in accordance with VDA/AIAG standards
  • Support and advise Manufacturing Engineering in the statistical evaluation of measurement data, including Measurement System Analysis (MSA), using Q-DAS SOLARA software
  • Support and advise Manufacturing Engineering in the statistical evaluation of process capability studies (Cmk/Cpk) using Q-DAS qs-STAT software
  • The AQE is responsible for developing Prototype Control Plans and Pre-Launch Control Plans, including Safe Launch activities, within the project team throughout the new product development lifecycle
  • The AQE is responsible for driving a zero-defect approach to prevent customer complaints by incorporating lessons learned and implementing preventive quality measures
  • The AQE supports the project core team in building organizational knowledge of quality standards through activities such as internal and external audit preparation, APQP training, and fostering a quality-focused mindset throughout the organization
What your background should look like
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Strong customer orientation, both internally and externally
  • Diplomatic communication skills with a results-oriented approach to discussions and negotiations
  • Open-minded, solution-oriented, and goal-driven mindset
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to lead topics and drive structured problem-solving, with a high level of resilience and focus on results
  • Ability and interest to work effectively in an intercultural environment
  • Knowledge of APQP according to AIAG and VDA requirements
  • Knowledge of PPAP/PPA processes according to AIAG and VDA standards
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Process Capability Studies
  • Knowledge of FMEA methodology
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements
  • Basic knowledge of VDA 6.3
  • Proficiency in the local language and English, both written and spoken
  • Basic knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing processes such as assembly, injection molding, and related production technologies
  • Willingness to travel within the EMI region
