Jobbeschreibung

Hi!

We are Coffee Circle, Germany's leading sustainable specialty coffee roastery based in Berlin. We offer the world’s finest coffee and equipment to over 150,000 customers online and in our Cafés, driven by our goal to make high-end coffee experiences enjoyable and accessible to all. We foster direct trade relationships with coffee farmers worldwide, pay high prices for the coffee beans, and ensure everyone involved in the value chain is treated fairly and respectfully. For every kilogram of coffee we sell, we invest €1 through our Coffee Circle Foundation e.V. to support sustainable improvements in coffee-growing regions, such as clean drinking water, hygiene training, and coffee labs. With over €4 million raised in donations, we cannot wait to increase our positive impact with you on our team, one cup of coffee at a time.

And now, we’re coming to Munich!
We’re opening our first Coffee Circle Café outside Berlin and are looking for a strong local team to help us bring Coffee Circle to a new city. As part of our Munich opening team, you will play an important role in building the café from the ground up, creating a great guest experience, and bringing our coffee, hospitality, and culture to Munich.

Our offer

• One-year contract with a fixed monthly gross salary of € €1,885 in 2026, € 1976 in 2027 (depending on your coffee skills), based on 30 working hours per week across four days. We make sure weekend shifts are shared fairly across the team. The earliest shift may start at 07:00; the latest shift may end at 20:00.
• 20 days of holiday per year based on a four-day workweek.
• Access to Urban Sports Club (Corporate Membership, Classic plan) or to a 50 € voucher to use in supermarkets and several stores after the first month with us.
• Deutschlandticket (public transport) fully paid after your probation period of four months.
• 50 € net on your paycheck for every public holiday you work.
• Discounts on our coffee and equipment, as well as online benefits and voucher platforms, Corporate Benefits and FutureBens.
• Possibility of taking part in our company pension plan after the probationary period.
• Access to nilo, a mental well-being platform.
• Diverse, international team. We speak English with our colleagues.

Your role

• Brew our outstanding coffee while following our set Coffee Circle recipes: the coffee experience we provide should be a hallmark for everyone.
• Collect and manage orders with an impeccable customer approach.
• Provide table service if necessary, always acting like a welcoming host.
• Clean and maintain our machines, store, toilets, etc., and prioritize hygiene in your daily work.
• Act as Coffee Circle brand ambassador and represent the company values in front of customers.
• Provide continuous feedback to management, sharing relevant insights into our daily operations.

Your profile

• Fluency in English (B2-C1 level) and conversational German (min. A2 level).
• 1 year of previous work experience in Specialty Coffee is a must.
• Strong passion for coffee.
• Openness and inclusivity are fundamental: we want our customers to be part of our community.
• Punctuality and reliability are key for the role.
• Rote Karte.
• Ability to respect and maintain high standards.
• Solid team-playing skills.
• Based in Munich with a valid EU work permit.

What we believe in

Coffee brings all kinds of people together. So do we. At Coffee Circle, coffee experts work alongside artists, entrepreneurs, writers, designers, and plenty of people who simply care deeply about what they do. We look at the world with curiosity, respect, and open eyes, because great coffee is never just about the cup. It’s about the people behind it, the choices we make, and what we can build together: better quality, stronger partnerships, and a more thoughtful way of doing business.

No matter what your race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or gender identity: you are awesome as you are, and if the job description resonates with you, there's no reason why you should not apply.

We are looking forward to getting to know you!
