Job summary

AGO GmbH is seeking a Senior Site Manager in Piping and Plant Construction to lead industrial pipework projects across Germany. You will coordinate, monitor and optimise construction; manage staff and subcontractors; and ensure on-time, quality, and cost-effective installation according to drawings and specs.

We value hands-on experience in steel, stainless steel and plastic pipework, health and safety knowledge, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in metalworking (HKS/pipework construction).
• Experience as a specialist site manager in industrial pipework construction, ideally in welding of steel, stainless steel and plastic pipework.
• Specialist knowledge in health and safety on construction sites and proficiency in Office applications.
• Willing to work nationwide and part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own staff and subcontractors, and coordinating with other trades involved on site.
• Checking that specifications can be implemented on site. Preparing quantity surveys.
• Monitoring and ensuring the progress of installation in terms of quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness, based on technical specifications and drawings.
• Organising and coordinating the flow of materials.
• Distinguishing between and evaluating contractual and non-contractual work.
• Identifying and resolving issues arising during the provision of services.
• Drafting the necessary site correspondence.

Your profile:

You have completed vocational training in the metalworking sector (HKS/pipework construction). You have already gained relevant experience as a specialist site manager in industrial pipework construction, ideally in the fabrication (welding) of steel, stainless steel and plastic pipework.
In addition, we would be delighted if you had specialist knowledge in the field of health and safety on construction sites and were proficient in using Office applications.
