Responsibilities

• Track installation progress and report to construction management.

• Prepare and oversee pressure testing, flushing and line walk activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and interface problems with other disciplines.
• Promote and enforce health, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Support punch list management, mechanical completion and handover of piping systems

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Piping Supervisor to support the construction and installation phase of an industrial energy plant project in Germany on a contract basis. The role is site-based and focuses on making sure piping works are installed safely, correctly and in line with the project schedule, drawings and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will supervise piping installation activities from prefabrication and erection through to testing and handover. You will work closely with subcontractors, construction management, QA/QC and other disciplines. The job involves coordinating daily work, solving technical issues on site and making sure piping systems meet the relevant specifications and standards.
